There are three levels of accommodation available at BCME7 (a conference location map may be viewed here).

Standard student accommodation  – waiting list only – or register as a non resident or day delegate - at Chandos Hall, Granby Row, Manchester M1 3QJ.   Bedrooms have a washbasin in the room; there are 11 bedrooms on a floor, sharing toilet and shower facilities along with communal kitchen and lounge area. Hotel accommodation

The Ramada Hotel, Piccadilly, Portland Street, Manchester, M1 4PH.   No longer available. Rooms available: small double or single (both designed for single occupancy.)  A vibrant and lively three star hotel overlooking Manchester's vivacious city centre.  The recently refurbished hotel is situated half a mile from Picadilly train station.  Car parking is available on first come first served basis and is charged at the following rates:  £6 per day or £12 for 24 hours.  Internet acces is charged at £3 per hour or £12 for a full day.   Check-in is from 2.00 pm, luggage can be left with the concierge.  Full English breakfast served from 7.00 am. Chancellors Hotel is a modern three star hotel set in 5 acres of landscaped grounds.  Conveniently located for all amenities and is only three miles from Picadilly train station and approximatly 5 miles from Manchester airport.  If you are travelling by car Chancellors has a secure car park for up to 90 spaces free of charge. Complimentary  internet access is available in all rooms.  Check-in from 2.00 pm or luggage can be left with the hotel.  Full English breakfast  is served from 7.00 am.

The Ibis is walking distance from Manchester Piccadilly and Oxford Road stations (10 minutes), and a similar distance from the conference venue (there is also a regular bus which leaves from close to the hotel). At the hotel:  24hr reception desk, onsite café offering snacks 24hrs, and wifi and broadband internet at £9.99 per day or £3.99 ph.  Check-in is from 2.00 pm, luggage can be left with the concierge. The hotel offers a continental, all-you-can-eat buffet, from 6.30 am to 10.00 am.
