Following the highly successful BCME-6, JMC has decided to hold BCME on a four yearly basis synchronised two years either side of ICME, with the aim that major mathematics education organisations will not hold separate annual conferences in that year. The intention is that all sections of mathematics and mathematical education should come together in a single conference to celebrate, enrich, refresh and build mathematical and pedagogical confidence and expertise.
